The Transport General Authority (TGA) announced that, starting January 2026, parcel delivery companies will be required to reject any shipment that does not include a valid National Address.

This decision aims to improve delivery services, speed up operations, and reduce unnecessary contact between couriers and customers. It also supports efforts to enhance efficiency in the sector.

TGA noted that the National Address can be found through Absher, Tawakkalna, Sehhaty, and SPL platforms.

This step aligns with the goals of the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and reflects TGA’s commitment to developing a more reliable and

sustainable parcel delivery sector.

During the past Ramadan, the TGA reported that licensed companies delivered over 26 million postal shipments an 18% increase compared to the same period last year, reflecting the rapid growth of the postal sector in the Kingdom.
