Eng. Essam brings over 18 years of experience in the maritime transport industry and international organizations and conventions. His expertise spans across various domains, including marine sciences, marine environment, cybersecurity, anti-piracy, maritime security, and international relations and agreements. He has worked in diverse geographical regions including Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
 

Eng. Abdulmajeed is a specialist in transport engineering with extensive experience in transport policy, planning, and municipal projects. He has completed numerous specialized training programs and has significant expertise in training and academic arbitration. He has overseen the review of several training programs and presented a number of technical research papers at both local and international forums. He also serves as an executive board member at the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and holds board memberships in various organizations.
 

Over 16 years of experience in implementing and operating major rail transport projects and in regulating the sector, during which time he supervised the implementation and operation of the Northern Line projects, in addition to working in the management of one of the consortiums implementing the Riyadh Metro project, and later working in regulating and supervising the rail transport sector in the Kingdom, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Mr. Suleiman is an expert in business administration and development, with a proven track record in leading establishment and construction projects. His experience includes capital and operational needs assessment, team building, financial planning, process engineering, and workflow design.

Dr. Badr is a specialist in digital transformation and machine learning, with over 13 years of experience in designing and leading digital transformation strategies. He has a strong background in managing multidisciplinary technical teams to deliver high-efficiency, cost-effective digital services aligned with key performance indicators.

He is also an expert in IT governance, data governance, and ensuring compliance with national standards, policies, and regulations in the development of digital systems and applications.

Over the past decade, Dr. Badr has led machine learning–based projects, including:

Analyzing advanced Arabic-language financial news features for the Saudi stock market using intelligent digital models.

Generating descriptive Arabic captions for images using deep learning and machine learning techniques.

Developing a smart advisory application using data mining, involving feature selection, classifier optimization, data extraction and quality, and recommendation generation.
 

Dr. Omaimah holds both a Master’s and Ph.D. in Cybersecurity from the University of Manchester in the UK. She was awarded the prestigious Ibn Khaldun Fellowship for Saudi Women Scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the world’s leading institution in engineering and technology.

She is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Autonomous and Urban Mobility and founded the Center of Excellence for Smart Environments at King Abdulaziz University. Dr. Omaima has held several leadership and administrative positions at King Abdulaziz University, the University of Jeddah, and Dar Al-Hekma University.

She is a certified external reviewer with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission and has led 11 research projects funded by King Abdulaziz University and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in fields including cybersecurity, smart cities, and modern mobility. She has published over 61 peer-reviewed research papers and serves on technical committees for several journals and conferences.

She also holds a U.S. patent in IoT security and is a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) by the EC-Council.
